Totes and backpacks are given to cancer patients as immediate help with no strings attached, forms to fill out or approval process. Oncology Nurse Navigators give the totes to adults going through treatments at their cancer centers and the chaplains at Children’s Hospital personalize, assemble and deliver the backpacks to children there. Totes cost between $35 and $40 to make and the backpacks cost between $40 and $100, depending on the size of the gift card included.
Totes of Hope is a 501(c)3 organization, so donations are tax deductible and 100% of your donation goes directly to the cost of the totes and backpacks. Donations can be made with the ‘Donate’ button on the home page or by mailing a check to the following address:
